VTG red cardigan sweater w/ elephant & mice appliqué sz L (?)

Vintage red cardigan sweater with gray trim and matching buttons. Features large elephant appliqué on back and and two mice appliqué on the front. Also features hearts, clubs, spades and diamonds appliqué (possibly relating to playing cards) and two front functional pockets - for keeping a stash of Werther’s Originals or perhaps your blood pressure meds. Honestly, I have NO IDEA what’s going on here and if you’re down with weird, random vintage grandpa sweaters….well, this one will do. Overall in great shape - couple of small snags (on on back left shoulder, the other on underside of right sleeve) and some superficial spots on front.
