VTG bird brooch enamel on metal, Rhinestones, Faux pearl, Magnetic Back Clasp

Featuring a pastel pink and green enamel bird on oblong pointed silver tone metal, I updated this charming vintage brooch for the 21st century. The bird is positioned standing with pastel pink and green enamel trim and the wings are tiny pink rhinestones. I removed the old pin backing and then remounted the brooch on a pink teardrop shaped disk. Around the edges I added pink rhinestones and faux white pearls to coordinate with those already in that brooch. Once those were in place I used a shiny gloss finish. For the final step I added a new magnetic back clasp. This piece is vintage, quite well made with intricate detail in the metal, as I have tried to show in the close up photo. The hanging faux white teardrop pearl is original to this brooch. The size of the vintage brooch is approximately 4 inches by 1.5 inches. With this actual vintage pieces, recycled for the modern era, you can feel "green" and gloriously beautiful at the same time. A quality neodymium rare earth Magnetic Fastener is used on the back as opposed to the traditional pin clasp. Magnetic fasteners will not damage or put holes in your clothing. The magnetic backs are easy to use: • With your thumb, PUSH and SLIDE the top magnet off the bottom magnet. (DO NOT try to pull them apart because they are too strong.) Remember to always SLIDE. • Position your brooch on top of your clothing and place the removed magnet beneath your garment and in back of the top magnet. Please ask questions before buying.
