VTG Uranium Glass - Green & Opalescent Art Glass Bowl - Depression Glass

Uranium / Depression Glass - Green & Opalescent Art Glass Bowl Pressed glass Vintage - Date unknown; this type of glass was originally produced from ~1830-1940, with some pieces made in 1958-1978. Due to various designs elements, I would estimate this item was made approximately 1890-1930. Pedestal style with ruffled edge and intricate designs. Measurements: 9" diameter, height 3", pedestal 0.75" high, bowl depth to top of ruffle 2.25" Also referred to as Vaseline glass or Uranium glass In great vintage condition - please note there very slight defects in the glass due the manufacturing methods used at the time it was made. There is some variation in the coloring. There is also a sort of "hazy" finish in some spots on the glass, it does not wash off. Hand wash only. Note: This type of glassware contains uranium dioxide to create a yellow-green color and fluorescent effect. Uranium glass is generally considered safe for normal handling and use, including eating and drinking from it. Please inspect photos carefully & ask questions as needed.
