VTG Toelian TM Clip Earrings Silver Tone Leaf Design Minimalist 1.25"‎ 1940-50s

The product is a pair of vintage Toelian TM makers mark signed clip earrings featuring a silver tone leaf design in a minimalist style. These huggie style earrings are shaped like flowers and have a retro theme, typical of the 1940-50s era. The earrings are made of metal and measure 1.25 inches in length, making them a stylish and classic accessory for those who appreciate vintage and antique jewelry. In the south Pacific during the Battle of Manado on the Dutch East Indies a town named Toelian is referenced. The correct Dutch spelling is the word Toekan which translants into English as the word Toucan after a tropical bird. TM or Trademarks began to be used post WW2 in 1946 therefore given the Art Deco style design and other technical clues we believe these earrings to be 1940s to 1950s era. We were unable to find out much about the Toelian brand other than a few similar signed jewelry items therefore we believe this was an artisan piece or company that went defunct making this a scarce and likely very rare niche collectible brand.
