Vintage Early St. John Knits 3-Piece Skirt Suit. 60s/70s era. Lipstick Red with Black accents and Gold-tone buttons. Textured, boucle-like knit. Classic and versatile! **Please Note:** All pictures are taken in natural outdoor light. Color tone/hue may appear slightly different in person or under different lights. The Red pulls Orange undertones. Prior to 1972, clothing wasn’t required to have size or material tags. This measures as a modern small/medium. See measurements for best fit. The material feels like a wool blend, but I’m not 100% sure. Beautiful vintage condition with no major flaws, holes or stains. The yarn has some light colored fuzzing that is visible up close. Not sure if this is fading of dye or wear from washing. See last (2) pictures. Jacket has a v-neck neckline with 6 button closure. Buttons are thicker and show some scuffing. Pit to pit approx 18” Shoulder to hem approx 23” Sleeve approx 22 5/8” Top is sleeveless with a mock neck and Talon zipper closure at back. It has a Black dot pattern. Zipper works great but needs a firmer pull. Pit to pit approx 17” Shoulder to hem approx 22” Skirt is a pull-on with elastic waist and flares slightly at the hem. The elastic was replaced from original. The skirt is missing its tag.
