VTG Shane Schimmel '88 Signed Pottery Goblet Hand Thrown Glazed Abstract Drip

This is a beautiful and unique vintage studio pottery vase signed and dated by the artist, Shane Schimmel, in 1988. This piece is a wonderful example of hand-thrown ceramic art from the late 20th century. The vase features a graceful, goblet-like form with a wide mouth and a tapered, elegant pedestal base. The primary color is a soft, muted peach or blush tone with a high-gloss, crackle glaze finish. The body of the pottery is adorned with an abstract, free-form "drip" or "splatter" design in shades of maroon and light gray/white, adding a modern, artistic touch. The base is clearly signed "S. Schimmel '88," which indicates it was made in 1988. This makes the piece over 35 years old, a true vintage collectible. It is in good vintage condition with two cracks.
