Beautiful hand made salt glazed serving bowl. NO cracks or chips-RARE find! Measures: 6 1/4" tall X 9 1/4" wide at top X 6" wide at base. Hand made in Monmouth, Illinois by the now defunct "Maple City Pottery". Please ask with any questions or need more pics. Imperfections seen in pics due to glazing process. "Pottery was made in the USA by skilled artisans in Monmouth Illinois. Each piece was made the old fashion way by hand, decorated by hand and then loaded by hand into a kiln. Potters used primitive techniques where rock salt was introduced during the firing process to create a durable salt glaze finish. Because of the nature in which it is created, no two pieces will ever be exactly alike. As with any handmade ware, each piece will be unique."
