VTG Rubber Face Waving Santa Claus Tulle Net Body Retro Christmas Decor 18” READ

Vintage Rubber Face Waving Santa Claus. He has a wire body with tulle netting, sewn fabric hands and hard foam feet. He has a rubber face. Not sure if he was made from a kit or a home made piece. He has no tags or hallmarks. He stand on his own, although he is easily tipped over. His body is not posable. He is in good condition but definitely shows his age. His beard is glued on, and some pieces are detached and glued onto his shirt separately. A lot of his beard is stiff. The white fuzzy trim on the bottom of his “coat” is pinned on. The pins are old and very tarnished. Some of the glue is coming undone on his beard and other areas, just from being old and dried out. For this, he is somewhat fragile and should be a “looked at” piece that isn’t handled a lot without some restoration. He has some discoloration on the bottom of one boot.
