VTG People magazine commemorating the death of Jerry Garcia dated Aug 21, 1995

In excellent vintage condition, cover of Jerry Garcia the lead guitarist and lead singer of the Grateful Dead band, on the occasion of his death in 1995. Hugely popular at the time, the Dead concerts would draw such crowds they shut down traffic for hours in the towns they played in, leading to the necessity of the band arriving by helicopter. Deadheads would follow the band from town to town and set up villages in the parking lots where you could barter for food, handmade jewelry, tie dye clothing, and drugs. What an era.
