Finally there is a loop to hold a pen or pencil. The sturdy zipper goes around 3 sides to keep whatever you put in this secure. Great case for carrying all sorts of things - paperback book with glasses, add a notebook & pen, keys & cash or credit cards to take to the beach, etc. Opened side to side it measures approximately 14” x 9”.
