Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this vintage likely 1920s to 1940s Fred Harvey Era Navajo cuff bracelet is a stunning piece that celebrates the rich heritage of Native American jewelry. The bracelet features an exquisite multicolored Agatized Arizona Petrified Wood stone, cut into a cabochon shape and set in a unmarked sterling silver bezel. his is a remarkable find for collectors of authentic Native American artistry and has beautiful swirl, rope twist, and raindrop accents with 3 into 1 bands capped on the end by the artisan 52.5 grams precious metal and stone.
This is a top shelf investment quality bracelet. It has remnants of being chisel cuff on the backside of the cuff where the artisan smoothed any rough edges. The silversmithing is elite and has a rawness that is stunning and speaks to strong hand crafted Native American symbolism while representing the Art Deco period geometric thinking of the time but with a more natural flowing curved aspect as opposed to angular lines. This cuff is in good functional condition with expected use wear and oxidation of the metal that has not been cleaned for many years while the agate cabochon is completely natural with preservation of the wood banding along with some black dendrites and other earthy color hues, nice polish and shape..
