Vintage Safari Hat 1950's - 1960s Hand Woven Straw Hat This vintage hat is super unique and in excellent condition! It has an unusual woven basket pattern on the inside and is super sturdy. There are 3 metal grommet vents on each side, and finishing straw embellishments for a lovely and refined look on such a primitive type hat. It uses thin straw material that is shaped and woven into a hard dome shape with brim. Very high quality workmanship and a lovely, stylish hat to keep the sun off, or for that safari look as if you just got done crossing the desert on a camel or were in the rainforest with elephants. Super cool! Has a plastic adjustable chin strap.
