VTG Michael Ricker Pewter Boy Sculpture Victorian Times Hoop Roller Game. The hoop and stick was a popular game or toy played in Victorian times and for centuries afterward. Crafted from pewter, this handmade piece features a boy holding a stick and hoop. The handmade craftsmanship and attention to detail in this piece showcase the skill of the artist, Michael Ricker. Michael Ricker was an artist, sculptor and philanthropist (1940-2006), a Colorado State USA based artist. He is famous for his Park City miniature pewter pieces. The statue is signed by Michael Ricker at the base edge "MR" and a hand engraved signature on the bottom of the base (unreadable to me), making it a unique collectible piece. This statue would make a wonderful addition to a pewter collection display or as a gift for a loved one. In excellent condition. There is a sticker on the bottom "Harvey" that can be removed. Measures 4 1/4" T x 2 7/8" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" base. Weight 12 oz.
