VTG Manos del Uruguay 100% Wool Handspun Handmade Sweater

One of a kind vintage 100% wool sweater made in Uruguay by Manos Del Uruguay from the 1980s. Handspun, handmade, handknit. Boho fair isle pattern with orange-red, blue, green, and brown tones. Size medium on the tag. Approx. 20" pit to pit and 24.5" length There were two small holes at the bottom of the torso and sleeve that were mended - see last two photos. They are not very noticeable because of the chunky knit. Manos Del Uruguay is an artisan fair-trade non-profit organization. They have collaborated in recent years with brands such as Doen and Madewell. Similar to pieces from Babaa, Nanushka, Doen, Anthropologie, Free People.
