VTG Madame Alexander 8” Doll 11557 Wendy as Moulin Rouge Cancan Dancer Ok, look folks. Over 100 years ago the Moulin Rouge Dancers did the cancan and they still are risque today. So this doll absolutely cracks me up. Hysterical costuming. This is Wendy as a Moulin Rouge Cancan Dancer. The most famous club in all of Paris France is still operating today and this outfit just is adorable with its ruffles and flounces. In overall good shape. Her dress is lovely and flouncy. Unfortunately, the pink on her sleeves has rubbed off on her arms and I have photographed that for you. She is sold as is. She spent some time in her house next to the Pacific Ocean so smells a bit of the sea. I've aired her out a bit but she could use a bit more. She has been restrung. She does not have her box or her paper tags. This is one of the dolls of the world - international series and although these guys are pretty common, this particular doll has so much detail and so much silliness you won't believe it.
