True Vintage 1967 ed Levi's Bedford Cord Type III Trucker Jacket Style 70505 Tagged Sz 40 (Fits Like a Modern Men's Medium with a 44" chest) in Sta-Prest 1118 Navy. USA Made, ca late 60s early 70s Rare Black & Gold 'Big E' Tab with WPL on care tag still attached. Kept outstanding vintage condition, honestly and light wear, normal and expected, see all photos for condition detail. Tagged Sz 40 Measures flat 22 x 27" for a modern men's medium. 19" shoulders ~34" sleeves. This is a rare vintage Levi's Bedford cord Type III trucker jacket, dating from the late 1960s to early 1970s. What makes this jacket particularly special is the black and gold 'Big E' red tab, which signifies that it was part of Levi's popular Sta-Prest line of durable press clothing. The fabric is a blend of 50% Fortrel Polyester and 50% Cotton, characteristic of Sta-Prest garments known for their wrinkle resistance and easy care. Iconic design features, the tapered fit, pointed collar, button-up front, chest pockets with pointed flaps, and vertical seams running from the chest pockets down to the hem. The Bedford corduroy fabric adds a unique texture and feel compared to the more common denim. It's cotton fabric with vertical ridges or wales, similar to corduroy but finer.
