VTG Korean Cobalt-Blue Silk Double-Breasted Coat/Dress, EUC, 4P

This is a stunning and unique vintage double-breasted jacket/dress in a nubby cobalt blue silk dupioni, which gives it a nice weight, gorgeous texture and subtle shimmer. Marked “Made in Korea, 100% silk 4P”. All of the brass buttons are present, and stamped with an imperial crest motif. Includes inner button at waist and hidden hook and eye closure at the waist. Gathered at the waist to define the shape. Jacket has no identifying maker label; features fully intact purple silk lining and inner shoulder pads for structure. No rips, or holes. Minor flaws as follows: One very small minor fray at right sleeve hem, shown in photos. The interior silk lining shows minor discoloration from age around the neck and shoulders. The inside of the collar shows very minimal darkening from wear. Exterior of garment shows very minor discoloration under the arms. Please refer to photos for details. Overall this jacket looks amazing for its vintage age! Laying flat and buttoned closed, measures across approximately: 17” at bust, 15” at waist, 19” at the hips, 40” from top of shoulder to bottom of hem.
