It is wheel-thrown and glazed in the Peter Pots Mahogany Brown glaze. sgraffito technique of scribing through the first white layer of glaze before the second layer of brown is applied.no date on this item, but the style of decoration is in keeping with the work she was doing in the 1980s. Being wheel thrown, it is thicker and heavier than similar Peter Pots pieces, with a substantial rim, and signed in her hand JAN P POTS. Perfect condition, 8" diameter, 2.25 inches in height.
