VTG Italian DERUTA CIOCCOLATA PITCHER Hand Painted White/Blue Majolica Ch…

Vintage from 1960s crafted pottery. This style was offered before by Williams Sonoma in their Grand Cuisine Farmhouse Pottery Collection. The white majolica jug features a front round medallion with hand painted floral designs in a tile like pattern in blue, yellow and red, and has a striped border neck decor over the word "CIOCCOLATA". The pitcher is smooth and glossy with a nicely rounded shape, elongated neck with a flared rim and nicely curved handle. It is marked "MADE IN ITALY 793" underneath. The chocolate pitcher is about 7" tall, 6" wide with the handle and 4.5" deep. It weighs about 1lb 10oz, and holds 32 oz. It is in excellent vintage condition without any chips or scratches, but has a manufacturer slight flaw pictured in pic #3. Please see all pictures for overall condition and details.
