VTG I London Fog I Black Single Breasted Maincoat I *Shell Only* I 46R

This is what I *believe* to be one of London Fog's "Maincoats," circa mid-1960s. It's in VGUC, with just 2 small flaws shown in photos 14-15. It has no holes, tears or stains. It no longer has the lining that zipped in/out, so again, this is just the shell of the coat. Please review all photos. The color is Black, and the size is 46R. Features a single-breasted fly front, rear vent, stand-up collar, 2 exterior pockets & 2 interior pockets, all functional. Photos 1-2, front & back of coat, unbuttoned, on hanger Photo 3, label/size/material tag Photos 4-5, front & back of coat, laid flat, buttoned Photos 6-8, approximate measurements laid flat & buttoned: -pit to pit 27" -length 41" -sleeve length 25.5" Photos 9-10, interior construction & underarms Photo 11, all buttons present Photo 12, cuffs/buttons Photo 13, 2 extra buttons sewn inside Photo 14, stitch has come loose at top of left front pocket Photo 15, missing button on rear vent (could repair w/1 of the extra buttons) Photo 16, newspaper ad featured in the Sarasota Journal of August 25, 1965, p. 3 - this helps to date the coat as the materials & colors changed over time. In the early 1960s, there was no black color. And subsequent styles featured different percentages of polyester & combed cotton. This one matches the color & material combo in the ad (I checked many!). There were also many different styles of Maincoats, e.g. The Andes, The Dalton, The Poole, The Lancer, The Tower.
