VTG Hematite Chip Necklace with Ornate Irregular Hook Clasp (AS IS)

This is a VTG Hematite Chip Necklace with Ornate Irregular Hook Clasp (AS IS). Necklace measures approximately 16.5" L (unclasped, lying flat) or 8" (clasped). For me, this is a choker; for some, it might be a collar necklace. Brand: Unknown / Unsigned / Unmarked Style: Heavy hematite (metallic gunmetal gray) chips strung together to create a choker necklace. The clasp is odd: it's an ornate silvertone piece where the hook can be placed inside to alter the length very slightly. Year of Manufacture: Unknown. If you'd like an uneducated guess, maybe 1950s-1970s. Country of Manufacture: Unknown, no guesses. Condition-wise, I'll say that I'm not even sure this clasp was always on this piece. It is possible that someone carefully added it to give the piece some extra length. If so, they did it well / professionally and it doesn't look like a "hack job", if you will. As far as the actual necklace, it's gorgeous. The hematite chunks are heavy, they are shiny, and I see no overt signs of use just by looking at these chips. Overall, I would say it is in Very Good Condition.
