VTG Hand Tool Leather Chet Vogt Sterling Silver Hardware Horse Saddle Bag‎ Texas

This horse saddle bag features Chet Vogt signed with maker's marks and purity hallmarked 925 sterling silver hardware and conchos. This bag has Southwestern cowboy ranch designs and was part of a high end Glen Rose area ranch estate. All of the sterling silver buckles are in good functional condition while the full grain leather is thick with some variation in color from use wear and staining from weather, horse sweat, and other outdoor elements from use on trails of a private high-end Texas Hill Country area ranch. The leather tooling appears to be floral and is well done by a master craftsman. This saddle bag would be a really nice item to have for a fine horse and with some professional TLC the sterling and leather can be cleaned and reconditioned for use in shows, parades, or competitions where style and class are important.
