From the Fontanini Heirloom Nativity 5" Collection. no obvious flaws or defects. The master sculpture of this piece is Elio Simonelli, it measures just under 5” tall, 2.5” wide. Josiah loved music,his spare time was spent perfecting "the ideal in-strument." As he was about to try it for the very first time a star seemed a brilliant miracle, appearing just as his quest to complete the perfect musical instrument was accomplished. It sang loudly and sweetly into the air on that spectacular night. Fontanini Is Unique! Each figure is hand painted in the rich colors of Tuscany & antiqued for a distinctive wood carved look. Specially formulated polymer captures fine detail and will not chip or break. Since 1908, the Fontanini family of Bagni di Lucca, Italy has crafted nativities without equal.
