VTG Eckhardt & Engler Lidded Stein Good Beer Young Women Tyrolean Couple

Vintage German lidded beer stein from between 1949-1971. “Gutes Bier u junge Weiber Sind die besten Zeitvertreiber” …AKA “Good beer and young women are the best pastimes”. 11.5” tall x 5” wide (w/ handle) Stamped “Western Germany” (1949-1990) on the bottom, along with an oval around a symbol made of back-to-back “E”s above an “H,” used by Eckhardt & Engler from 1918-1971. However: In 1914, Eckhardt & Engler purchased some molds from Roßkopf und Gerz (Rosskopf & Gerz) and this appears to be from that time. "Tyrolean Couple". D.B.G.M. / DBGM mark inside of the lid ("Deutsches Bundes Gebrauchsmuster" / "German Federal Registered Design" a mark that was only used after 1949). "SRM" symbol is below it. "82" is on another part of the inner lid. "712" is stamped behind the handle. Please view photos carefully for condition.
