VTG Earrings Convertible Door Knocker Clip Electroform 925 Sterling Silver 23.1g

These are possible early Simon Sebbag earrings or where created by a silversmith whom attempted to copy SSD for a customer. We examined these under a trinocular microscope and only were able to locate the 925 stamping. The earrings are hollow and light weight and are technically the same as 1980s-1990s vintage convertible earrings. The rectangular embossed tray on the body of the clips has a gold tone color hue. Condition shows use wear on surfaces however the spring in the clips is still tight with smooth operations.
