VTG Donald Stannard Gold-Plated Tiger Head Pendant Necklace

Gorgeous vintage Donald Stannard gold-plated tiger head pendant necklace. Vintage jewelry designer Donald Stannard worked with Kenneth J. Lane from 1968-1972 when he launched his own brand. He is known for bold designs created for Broadway, TV, movies, and for famous stars of the time. Often his jewelry is sculptural and eye-catching. The company closed in 2000. Donald Stannard died in 2006. His pieces often appeared on fashion runways and are very collectible! The chain is gold-tone stainless steel, and measures approx. 24” with lobster-claw closure. The pendant measures approx. 1 ¼” long (total drop 1 ¾” including bail). The pendant and bail are both signed “Donald Stannard”. The condition of this piece is “like new”!
