VTG Ball canning tongs/jar lifter/grabbers

Antique wood handled home canning vertical tongs in very good vintage condition. Classic American Ball/vacuum jar lifters. Original black handle paint intact. Buttercream yellow plastic cushion grips intact & undamaged. An essential item for home water bath canning kits perfect for the more acidic comestibles, i.e. tomatoes, tomato juice, tomato sauce, whole or pureed tomatoes plus all fruits and berries for pies, jams and conserves, etc. True Summer tomato flavor is perfectly retained in glass jar canning.) Made in U.S.A. They don't make them like this anymore. Can a couple bushels of overripes at Summer's end when discount pricing happens (usually around $5. per bushel box at farm stands) and have 'to die for' bloody Marys or just tasty tomato juice all Winter. Hint: you'll need a hand crank food mill to separate seeds and skins from the juice after simmering before putting up in Ball jars. Save money and live like a king!
