Vintage VTG Arnex 17 Jewel Incabloc Pocket Watch Front Design Hunter's Case, Swiss Made by Lucien Piccard Co. This is a wonderful Arnex 17 Jewel, beautifully ornate pocket watch from the late 1940's. Arnex was one of several Swiss companies attempting to enter the US watch industry, and this was there attempt to crack the higher end market. Arnex was a name used by the Lucien Piccard Watch Co. to do business in the US. Metal technology had eliminated the need for temperature adjustment on watches so this movement was unadjusted. Incabloc technology prevented damage to the movement by cushioning the jewels and shafts. The pocket watch is engraved on the beautiful gold cover with hunting dog and a duck and back with gorgeous foliage along with various Swiss emblems. Very Rare cover.
