VTG 90’s Ray-Ban W0608 Metal Frames/B&L Green Round Aviator Lenses, Unisex

VTG 90’s Ray-Ban W0608 Metal Frames/B&L Green Round Aviator Lenses. One of only two styles of Classic Metal Round lenses and this is the roundest of the two. Hard to find, with black chrome frames and RB3 lenses. The finish is permanently bonded to the frame in a unique process developed by Bausch & Lomb in the 70’s which ensures against wear. The unisex Ray-Ban W0608 frame measures approximately 5 3/8” temple to temple and the lenses measure approximately 2.0” x 1 7/8” at widest point with right lens laser-etched “Ray-Ban”. Both lenses are laser-etched “BL” close to the hinges. The backside of the nose bridge is imprinted B&L RAY-BAN 52 21. The lenses offer 71% visible light absorption and 100% UV protection. I no longer have the original case but will include a Black Ray-Ban Luxottica Snap-Close Case (not perfect, has some cracking on back). It’s easy to find cases online ☺️. Circa mid-90’s. NEAR MINT CONDITION. I really had to search but there is a pretty undetectable surface scratch on the lower left lens; it doesn’t even show up in photos. Please note that I take video footage of any items over $100, from packaging to post office, to cover myself from fraudulent claims. So far all of my buyers have been perfectly wonderful, but one can never be too careful!
