VTG 70s (?) Fab-Knit Cheerleader Varsity Jacket Southern Sweethearts Riverside

Cool vintage varsity style jacket for the cheerleading team Southern Sweethearts at Riverside Academy in Louisiana. Navy blue body with white/red sailor-style yoke, striped knit cuffs/hem Chenille “RA” patch with cowboy boot on front, “Southern Sweethearts” chenille lettering across back flap Wool blend body, rayon lining, snap-front closure, two pockets Condition: Please note there are some spots of wear / discoloration, in addition the white lining that highlights the pockets is sort of sticky to the touch. I wiped them off but that remains so it might be degradation of the material over time. A rare and highly collectible piece of Southern school spirit history, combining varsity jacket style with a unique sailor-yoke design.
