VTG 60s 70s Sak’s Fifth Ave Sparkly Mid Century Modern Midi Cocktail Dress S

Absolutely stunning, true vintage glamour! Show up and shine in a shimmering sparkle at your Thanksgiving dinner or Fall holiday cocktail party in this striking, true vintage, mid century modern midi dress! Late 1960’s, early 1970’s metallic floral midi length cocktail dress from Sak’s Fifth Avenue. Fit and flare bodice with braided accent at the waist and beautiful empire pleating down the front and back. There is no size or materials tag, but measurements would indicate a size small. The fabric is a lurex metallic in a gorgeous orange, cream, and pink chrysanthemum print. Bracelet length sleeve. There is a dry clean only tag, and what is most certainly the selvage portion of a blue and white Union Label tag that has been removed. The remnant of the Union Label helps date the piece between 1963 and 1974. This 50 to 60 year old piece is in very nice vintage condition. My pictures do not do the fabric justice. What appears to be white speckles are really glittery gold shiny metallic thread. If you love the MCM vintage vibe you simply will not find a more spectacular fall holiday dress!
