VTG 50s Cheongsam Qi Pao Dress Size 36 Traditional Chinese Gown with Deffects

Wonderful 1950s vintage dress! This is made from what I believe is a silk jacquard fabric is safe to think is satin. The base is red and it has lovely florals all over. The flowers look like peonies to me and maybe cherry blossoms. This is very tight-fitting with a mandarin collar. There are side slits. This zips at the side with a metal zipper and snaps to the neck. The zipper is working but it has been partially ripped from the fabric probably from a person bigger than the dress trying to fit into it. The neck metal snacks will need to be re-sewn, especially the one on the neck. I provided close-up pictures of those flaws. This is a stunning and unique piece! The label of the brand has been cut, and we have only the size tag The measurements are in pictures, but in my opinion, it will fit a medium woman, bust 34 to 36 but with a tiny waist 28". This dress is beautiful, the prints are vivid, except for the flaws mentioned it will need to be tailored or fixed. That is why it is priced low.
