This is a vintage 1990s Tan Suede Mini Crossbody Bag by Michelle Lalonde! Michelle Lalonde was an artisan handbag designer who launched her line of bags in 1985 after attending the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York. The bags were produced in limited edition quantities in New York and were known for their sophisticated, unique designs and high-quality materials.
She was known for creating bags that were viewed as works of art using fine fabrics, such as suede and leather, often featuring unique details like beaded handles and silk-screen printed bodies. This beautiful example of her work is a mini expandable style bag made of tan suede with a basket weave texture and gold tone hardware! The flap style bag features a magnetic closure with a lucite button mounted in a prong setting. It has accordion style sides which can expand to hold more. The interior is lined in a light tan faille fabric with a black logo label on the back wall. Long, slender strap allows for shoulder or crossbody wear; knot strap to adjust length. It's a beautiful little bag, make it yours today!💕
