VTG 1980s Indiana Glass USA Recollection Candle Holder Pink (FG Madrid Repro)

For your consideration is this vintage glass candle holder produced by Indiana Glass Company. The pattern, Recollection, was a reproduction of Federal Glass' "Madrid" pattern created during the Depression Era. The Recollection line first hit the market in 1982 in the crystal color, and then 1984 in the Pink variant. Upright, the piece holds a taper candle with an inner diameter slot of 0.8 inches. Turned upside down, the piece will hold a standard tealight, a standard votive and will also holder a pillar candle no more than 3 inches in diameter. The entire dimension of the piece is 2.2 inches diameter on top, 3.7 inches in diameter on bottom, and 2.2 inches tall. It weighs 7.1 ounces. The candleholder does not fluoresce under UV light indicating it is free of lead and other reactive metals. This would look absolutely stunning in a feminine bathroom or placed on a vintage vanity. The items is pressed glass and the seams can be seen. Condition: No chips, cracks or abrasions observed. Did observe some glass inclusions, such as straw and air bubbles, when viewing under bright light. Item has been steam cleaned. Shop with confidence when you shop with us.
