VTG 1978 Flambro Taiwan Gentle Treasures Musical Figurine It’s A Small World

For your consideration is this vintage Musical Figurine imported from Taiwan by Flambro Imports. This was part of a "Gentle Treasures" design line that was popular during the latter 1970s and the piece is copyrighted by Gentle Treasures in 1978. The figural portion is porcelain and is a figural representation of two small children, a red head and brunette child with a little puppy and kitten. Both are standing on molded green grass. This piece appears to be hand painted. It contains a Sankyo musical movement that plays It's A Small World. As with all of our musical movement items, we gently removed the movement, cleaned and lubricated it, then reset back into place. This ensures the tune plays as it should. The figurine stands at 5.2 inches tall and 3.7 inches long and 2.7 inches wide, and weighs 13.4 ounces. To play the musical tune, wind the key crank. Ensure the knob is turned counter-clockwise as this activates a stopper lever that prohibits the music from playing. Complete your 1970s decorated space with this lovely Gentle Treasures piece.
