For your consideration is this adorable Ceramic Christmas Angel Figurine that appeared in Lefton's 1970 Fall catalog (catalog number X6394). This little girl stands 4 inches tall. She is part of a 3-figurines of Angels playing old fashioned musical instruments. This one is playing a Lute. Originally made in Japan, she is marked on bottom with Lefton's foil label that was in use from 1962 until 1990, and the number "6394." She is adorned with hand painted Holly Leaves and berries on her molded head, and a lovely hand painted green and red molded holly garland across the dress. Hand painted highlights on her wings are green, as well as the outline of her lute. The inside of the bell sleeves are painted red. Such a lovely piece to add to your vintage Christmas décor collection.
Condition: Some glazing defects are noted on her head and the brim of her skirt that occurred during the manufacturing process. Seller observed some small fleabites on the tips of both wings. These could be easily touched up with a little paint if desired, but they are not overly noticeable in seller's humble opinion. Item has been steam cleaned prior to photographing and listing.
