For your consideration is this vintage Goose-Neck Mirror made in Japan during the 1960s. The mirror comes apart into three sections, the chrome stem (marked "JAPAN"), the Magnifying view Hand Mirror, and the Standard view Hand Mirror. Each of the mirrors are nested in porcelain which is decorated with pink moss rose decals. One of the screw posts swivels whilst the other is fixed in place. Each mirror measures 4 inches in diameter and the chrome stem measures 6.8 inches long. The entire piece weighs 10.7 ounces. What a lovely piece to add to your romantic boudoir. Condition: The standard mirror has a crack that appears to have been produced when the screw post was inserted too tightly. This was glued very long ago, possible by the manufacturer. The magnifying side has two little divots in the porcelain. Under a magnifying glass, the seller observed they were covered in glaze and deduced they were manufacturing defects. There are spots on the magnifying mirror similar to aging of mercury glass. Seller has steam cleaned all pieces. Set will come disassembled for ease and protection during transit.
