Walborg was a New York-based company that shared the name of its creator, Hilda Walborg. The company outsourced manufacturing to Europe, including Italy, from the 1940s to the mid-1950s. The use of overseas workshops was standard for importing fine goods and Walborg had some of the finest.
Known for original designs and superior craftsmanship, each bag was handcrafted in a "high-end" tradition, using techniques like intricate mixed-metal work. While they’re not one-of-a-kind, these bags were handmade in batches and never mass produced. Because of this, collectors everywhere love them, for each one has been crafted with a personal touch, making it unlike any other in the world.
