VTG 1930s 1940s pink lovebirds planter, charming planters, whimsical garden

This is a super pretty, thick, ceramic pink lovebirds on a nest planter or dish. These lovely bird planters were all the rage back in the 30s and 40s, which is when I suspect this sweet piece was made, although it is unmarked. It's not necessarily ONLY a planter! You could pop it on a bathroom counter and use it as a ring dish. Or, if you sew, throw your buttons in it, or if you're an academic, throw your pins or paperclips in it!! These cute little birdies have several uses!!
