VTG 1920s Meito China Japan Oblong Celery Dish Hand Painted Wild Rose Motif 12"

For your consideration is this vintage Meito China celery dish from Nagoya, Japan featuring a beautiful hand-painted Wild Rose motif with green leaves. The dish is oblong in shape with double handles and a flat-footed base, and measures 12.25 inches in length, 5.4 inches in width, and 2 inches in height. The interior of the dish has an ombre colored effect and there is a gold band on the rim and handles. The dish is marked with "MEITO CHINA / (Crown) / HAND PAINTED / MADE IN JAPAN" on bottom. This one-compartment dish is perfect for serving asparagus or other vegetables and is a great addition to any Art Nouveau or floral-themed collection.Condition: Good Overall Condition.
