VINTAGE c. 1977 Cheerleading Uniform (HALLOWEEN COSTUME!)

This cheerleading uniform dates back to 1977 and would make the perfect Halloween or themed party costume! The skirt is from a Dallas Knitting Company sewing kit expressly made for this purpose. The sweater is from Bristol Products. Colors are orange and black. The sweater is 100% acrylic and I imagine the skirt is polyester or acrylic or some sort of blend, as nearly all these garments were back in the 1970s. This was a backup kit all cheerleaders had in case a skirt got torn, stained or lost. In today's sizes, this would be considered XXS or 00. Measurements are as follows: Skirt waist is approximately 24 3/4" Skirt length from top of waistband to bottom is 15" Sweater is 16 3/8" across the bustline, one side lying flat Sweater length is 24" from midpoint of the shoulder to the bottom NOTE: This item as well as all other items in my Poshmark closet come from a smoke free, pet free, scent free, perfume free and meticulously clean home.
