VINTAGE WOOD KALEIDOSCOPE ON STAND NICHOLAS II VAN CORT INSTRUMENTS 1991…

This amazing wooden compact kaleidoscope on stand is called the Nicholas II, designed after one of the Czar Alexander III & his son Nicholas II’s Victorian Fabergé eggs, manufactured by Van Cort Instruments. In a delightful egg shape, the egg measures 2-1/2”, & the stand measures 2”. Manufactured in the USA in 1991, the luxe, smooth sculpted birch wood is in shades of browns & greens with brass ends & stand. In EVC, it was collected & displayed in a curio all its life with the box & certificate. I tried to take a pic of your view of the colors & design of the hand lamp worked glass through the ocular lens, but it didn’t go so well, as only a teeny section would photograph, included in pics anyway!
