VINTAGE UMBRIA ITALIAN POTTERY VASE TRIO RED CLAY SIGNED MID CENTURY DECOR

This trio of hand thrown pottery vessels are from Umbria Italy. Although these 3 beauties were purchased in the 80’s, the lines & form are very much in the mid century style, & fit in with almost every room as they’re in neutral, organic tones! The Italian potters have been creating pieces since they discovered that the red clay would bind, & the expert craftsmanship is passed through the hands of generations! The exteriors of the vases are raw & natural, showing off the beauty of the earth, but the exterior edges & interior are fully glazed to hold anything you wish to place in it! They look wonderful with greenery or dried flowers inside, in addition to standing alone as works of art as I had them displayed! They’re in EVC with no chips or cracks, there’s one tiny spot on the brown vase that shows the red clay through the stain, it is not a chip. I believe it was an oversight by the artisan when staining, possibly a small bubble in application. The pieces are rustic, primitive, & fit your mid century, boho, or even contemporary decor delightfully!
