jazzsinger27 @jlinnw Hi, honestly, I'm not sure but it's not real shiny but has a rather matted black color. It is vintage though probably from the 40's. I'm going to lower the price since I'm not sure of the pearl's authenticity. Thank you for asking and making me aware.

jazzsinger27 Hi, I looked it up and the way to find out is to rub the pearl against your front tooth and if it feels gritty, then it's real, and it felt gritty when I did it. Thank you.
