Interior (pic 5) is hand painted in lush green colors, with stunning detail of birds + lotus + tree motif. EXCELLENT Condition – glass is pristine, no nicks, chips or scratches. Distinct Scenes and Calligraphy each side Decorative Glass/Crystal | Beveled Base Polished Stone Dome Stopper | Clean Cork Calligraphy Translation: Painting of "The Autumn Lotus," by the artist Xinluo Shanren, and "Yiwei year" which is the 21st year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1895 in the Western calendar). The reverse painting is a reproduction in homage to the original artist. Practiced for over 300 years, the artistry of Chinese reverse painting is executed with sharp, thin bamboo sticks. Painted entirely by hand and takes several days to finish. Similar bottles are made, but as they’re hand painted, each bottle is unique upon completion.
