VINTAGE RARE ADVERTISING ROBOT TOY

This is a promotional advertising toy mailed to potential customers in about 1979 from the CDW Computer Centers, Inc. 200 N. Milwaukee Ave., Vernon Hills, IL 60061. The company said CDW is “computing solutions built for business”. The 4 1/2 inch tall robot is in very good condition and working order. This is the original shipping box it was mailed in so there is some wear around the edges but otherwise in good condition. The wind up key is included. The printing on the box states this Advertising Robot was made and distributed in small unknown quantities. Therefore it can be assumed this is a rare hard to find item appealing to Robot collectors and advertising collectors.
