VINTAGE Photo Album 1920 Suede Leather Memory Book US Pre-WW2

An antique pre-WW2 photo album features a recessed ship illustration against a fabric sky with the words Cruise-album and US Navy, originally for photos and memorabilia from a naval voyage, now for any pictures or ephemeral collections. These albums were popular for collecting and displaying casual photographs often called snapshots. The album has a genuine suede cover, in a carmel brown color. It has a string-tied binding, holding in the black heavy cotton paper pages designed to hold photos using photo corners or adhesive.  11.5" wide x 8.5" tall 70 page faces (front & back of 35), with 4 pages still containing photo corners than can be easily removed. The image on the cover may be the USS Louisville. This album was passed down to my husband from his dad, whose father was a Sea Bee in both world wars, a very rare feat.
