This whimsical large pasta serving bowl from Pottery Barn was given to me in the late 1990’s as a housewarming present. From the ingredients pasta set, it measures a sizeable 13” in diameter, & 2-3/4” high. It has adorable colored sketches of the Italian cook’s arsenal: garlic, parmesan, basil, tomato, & olive oil, accompanied by a flirty squiggly on the rim! I’m a first generation American Italian, raised by an army of non English speaking Italians just off the boat, so you can only assume I have cabinets full of pasta bowls! I’m embarrassed to say that I don’t think that I ever remember using this, as it was always on the bottom of the pile in the back, & my arms couldn’t reach that far into the cabinet! I’m downsizing for retirement, & I’d like someone else who is into Pottery Barn to enjoy! She has no chips or cracks, but I do see a light gray discoloring on the base that can’t be seen in the sunlight, just in the shade, worth mentioning. It was not easy to catch in a photo, but I held it in 3 different angles to catch it for your perusal, please view pics. It’s really not unsightly, & your bowl will be full of a glorious pasta dish, so you’ll never even take a second glance!
