VINTAGE ORIGINAL 1940 CAPTAIN MIDNIGHT DECODER PREMIUM RADIO SHOW BRONZE COIN

Vintage, bronze decoder coin from the 1940’s radio show “Captain Midnight”. This premium was sent to kids who listened to the radio show. The front depicts Captain Midnight in goggles flanked by his sidekicks, Patsy Donovan and Chuck Ramsay around propellers with words "Captain Midnight Remember The Password ?COBRALHOFA?" encircling rim; reverse is clock face with hands pointing to midnight, plus the logo of his show's sponsor, Skelly Oil with the words "Medal of Membership Captain Midnight 1940 Flight Patrol" encircling rim. The radio ads for this show advertised this medal could be used as a decision maker. The center of the propeller is raised so if you spin the medal face down, the clock hands on the back whirl around, eventually slowing to a point in a particular direction.
