Gorgeous Vintage Murano Paperweight with Millefiori motif. Adds charm and elegance to any desk, tablescape, coffee table, side table or bookshelf. Approx 2.25 inches This paperweight was made on the island of Murano in Venice, Italy. Venetian glass making dates back centuries and the Venetians are given credit for the earliest millefiori canes and paperweights in 1840s. More recently, paperweight making was revived in the 1930s and again in the 1960s.
